Arvind Kejriwal to Begin His Second Leg of Campaigning in Amethi Today
Amethi, Uttar Pradesh: Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal will begin his second leg of campaigning in the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency on May 1.
During his two-day stay in Amethi where party nominee Kumar Vishwas is pitted against sitting MP and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and actor-turned-BJP candidate Smriti Irani, Kejriwal will address a series of rallies.
The former Delhi Chief Minister will address at least five public meetings in Jagdishpur, Tiloi and Salon Assembly segments of the constituency, Vishwas said today.
Meanwhile, Congress star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi will continue her campaign in the constituency tomorrow in support of her brother and sitting MP.
She will addressed meetings in Tiloi Assembly segment of the constituency.
Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson and MLA Akhilesh Prata Singh told PTI over phone that Gandhi will address public meetings in Semrauta and Fursatganj and participate in a padayatra in Tiloi.
Priyanka will also meet people at Kasimpur, Shahmau, Shankarganj, Raja Fattepur and Shivratanganj villages, Singh added.
