What Arvind Kejriwal Will Do at Bengaluru Health Farm
New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, chief minister of Delhi, arrived in Bengaluru today afternoon in search of good health. He will spend 10 days at the Jindal Institute of Naturopathy outside the city, where he will be treated for his cough and high blood sugar.
Mr Kejriwal, 46, is traveling with his parents and has booked a premier suite at the institute, called the “Nest.” It will cost the Delhi chief minister about 25000 to 30000 rupees for stay, food and treatment for all three people.
An ayurveda doctor will examine Mr Kejriwal and will decide what type of yoga, laugh therapy, acupuncture, gym and physiotherapy is to be prescribed to him
The nature cure will require a lot of discipline. Doctors at the institute said treatment would start start at 5.30 am every day and would go on till 7 pm with a four-hour break.
Dinner is at 7 pm sharp and bedtime is 9 pm.
During the first week of his stay, Mr Kejriwal’s diet will include extracts of herbs, vegetable soups, fresh fruit juice and boiled vegetables. After one week – he will be allowed to get back to regular food, but with restrictions.
Mr Kejriwal has stayed here twice earlier for nature cure; it is tough to stick to the strict guidelines out in the real world.
